Services
Barking Bubbles at Long Creek Farm provides pet grooming, dog boarding, daycare, enrichment, and related pet care services located in Belchertown, Massachusetts. All services are subject to availability and may change without notice.
Appointments, Reservations & Deposits
Appointments and boarding reservations may require intake forms, vaccination records, deposits, signed agreements, or additional documentation prior to confirmation. Certain services require non-refundable deposits, as communicated at the time of booking. Holiday and peak travel surcharges may apply. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services for pets displaying illness, parasites, aggression, unsafe behavior, or conditions that may compromise the safety or well-being of staff, other animals, or the pet itself.
Vaccination Requirements
Current vaccination records are required prior to participation in grooming, boarding, or daycare services. Required vaccinations may include:
Dogs
Rabies
Distemper (DHPP)
Bordetella
Cats
Rabies
FVRCP
Additional requirements may apply depending on the service provided.
Boarding & Daycare Participation
Participation in boarding, daycare, enrichment activities, and group play environments carries inherent risks associated with animal interaction. Dogs participating in daycare or group play may be subject to onboarding evaluations or temperament assessments to help ensure safe and compatible group dynamics. We thoughtfully group dogs based on factors such as size, age, temperament, energy level, and play style to support a safe environment. While every effort is made to maintain a secure and supervised setting, Barking Bubbles at Long Creek Farm cannot guarantee prevention of all injuries, illnesses, scratches, bites, or incidents that may naturally occur in animal care environments.
Grooming Services & Coat Condition
Pet owners are responsible for informing staff of any medical, behavioral, or sensitivity concerns prior to grooming. For severely matted coats, grooming may expose pre-existing skin irritation, sores, bruising, hot spots, or underlying conditions that were hidden beneath the coat. In situations where matting compromises a pet’s comfort, health, or safety, Barking Bubbles at Long Creek Farm reserves the right to humanely shave or modify the groom as necessary for the pet’s well-being. Additional de-matting or handling fees may apply when appropriate.
Parasites & Flea Policy
If fleas, ticks, or other parasites are observed during grooming, boarding, or daycare services, we reserve the right to administer appropriate remedial care or recommend treatment at the owner's expense in order to maintain a safe environment for all pets.
Medication & Veterinary Care
Owners must disclose all medications, medical conditions, behavioral concerns, and special care instructions prior to services. Medication administration may be available for an additional fee. In the event of illness, injury, or medical emergency, Barking Bubbles at Long Creek Farm reserves the right to seek veterinary treatment deemed reasonably necessary for the safety and well-being of the pet if the owner or emergency contact cannot be reached promptly. The pet owner assumes responsibility for any associated veterinary expenses.
Photo & Media Release
Unless otherwise requested in writing, you grant Barking Bubbles at Long Creek Farm permission to photograph or video your pet while participating in grooming, boarding, daycare, or related services. These images or videos may be used for social media, marketing, promotional materials, or website content without compensation.
Third-Party Services & Software
This Website and certain business operations may integrate with third-party providers including Squarespace and MoeGo for scheduling, booking, payment processing, communication, and appointment management. By utilizing these services, you may also be subject to the applicable terms, conditions, and privacy practices of those providers. Barking Bubbles at Long Creek Farm is not responsible for interruptions, errors, security practices, or policy changes associated with third-party software or services.
