SUE & GREG LONG

Longtime dog lovers and lifelong dog owners, Sue and Greg are the warm-hearted husband-and-wife team behind Barking Bubbles at Long Creek Farm. With a thoughtful eye for detail, a touch of panache, and a genuine love for animals, they, alongside their son Beckett and their dedicated team, take great pride in caring for your furry family members. Whether your pet is visiting for grooming, daycare, or a longer, retreat-style stay, you can feel confident they are in attentive, capable, and compassionate hands.

Their backgrounds bring a uniquely elevated level of care to everything they do. Greg, inspired by his father’s entrepreneurial spirit and shaped by deep roots in the hospitality industry, understands what it means to create a truly welcoming and thoughtfully run experience. Sue brings decades of experience in estate management, having worked closely with discerning families, along with a natural empathy and attentiveness that ensures each dog is cared for with genuine warmth and understanding.

From the very beginning, this journey felt meant to be. Having trusted Barking Bubbles for years with their own beloved golden retrievers, Georgia and Buoy, Sue and Greg were deeply connected to the business long before they became its stewards. When they learned it might be closing, something clicked into place. What began as an unexpected moment quickly became a calling.

Sue envisioned something more—an elevated, welcoming refuge for dogs of all sizes and the people who love them. Greg felt equally drawn to creating a warm, joyful environment where every dog would feel safe, cared for, and genuinely happy. After acquiring the business, they set out to thoughtfully reimagine and expand upon what had been, guided by both heart and intention.

Today, Barking Bubbles at Long Creek Farm reflects that vision: a place where exceptional care, comfort, and connection come together, and where your dog is treated like family. That connection is something you’ll feel from the moment you arrive.

“Highly recommend for boarding! Boarded our dog Bagel there for 4 nights and then again for 3 nights less than 2 weeks later. Bagel was excited to see the owners and staff when we came back the second time and wanted to give them all kisses. Both times I was texted almost daily with updates and pics and videos of Bagel playing outside. And after talking to Greg, Sue and Beckett, it was clear to me that they had spent time with bagel and had truly gotten to know her. Highly recommend!”

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe pets thrive in calm, in consistency, and in environments where they feel safe. That’s why everything we do is designed to feel different from the moment you arrive with your furry family member.

  • No loud, crowded rooms — we create quiet, calm, serene environments

  • No overstimulation — we provide patient, attentive care focused on your dog’s individual needs

  • No “assembly line” care — we deliver a customized approach and kind service, with you and your pup’s happiness at the forefront

Here at Long Creek Farm, we’ve cultivated a unique environment perfectly suited to dogs and those who love them. Envision a peaceful barn, fresh open air, and a slower pace that allows each animal to settle in and be themselves—whether that means a playful romp or a quiet, tucked-away moment, we’ll ensure your dog arrives (and leaves) wagging.

We’re intentional with every moment we have with our canine guests. Our goal is that they enjoy their time at the farm to the fullest so they can return home relaxed, refreshed, and ready to keep living their very best life by your side.

Our goal was to thoughtfully reimagine Barking Bubbles as an intentional, farm-based setting designed entirely with dogs in mind.

At Long Creek Farm, we saw the potential to create something different: a calmer, more natural environment where dogs have space to move, time to settle, and care that feels both personal and considered.

Every detail has been curated to support that vision—from open paddock time to quiet, unhurried routines, to round the clock attention and care—offering an experience that feels as good for dogs as it does for the people who love them.

Our home is their home.

LIFE ON THE FARM FOR DOGS

We strive to provide an immersive, wholesome experience for dogs in our care.

The pups in our care enjoy days centered around movement, fresh air, and connection. With multiple daily walks, time in our fully fenced paddock, and the freedom to explore a natural setting, dogs are able to stretch, play, and relax at their own pace. Inside, our dog lodge offers a cozy retreat, complete with couches, quiet corners, and plenty of snuggles.

Some dogs play.
Some dogs observe.
Some just want to curl up beside us.

We meet them exactly where they are.

“Sue, Greg, and the entire staff take amazing care of our dogs. Weve used them for boarding for our 1.5 yo lab, and grooming for the lab and our senior pugs—they always come home happy and fresh! When I brought my lab for grooming this week, his tail started wagging before we even got to the driveway of Barking Bubbles-he knew where we were going! Affordable, safe, and friendly, Barking Bubbles is a no-brainer!!”
